Nikki Simpson

A Trailblazing Master of Illustrative Realism

As the co-owner of EverBlack Tattoo Studio, Nikki Simpson has carved her name into the annals of tattoo artistry, emerging as a titan in the industry. Her influence goes beyond the incredible art she creates; it’s felt in the empowerment and inspiration she offers to the next generation of female tattoo artists, proving that the boundaries of this craft are limitless.

Launching her career in 2011 in Tucson, Arizona, at just 19 years old, Nikki's journey began with a traditional apprenticeship that instilled the timeless principles of bold and enduring tattoo art. Her relentless pursuit of excellence saw her crisscrossing the nation, making her mark at premier guest spots and tattoo conventions. Eventually, her path led to the bustling heart of New York City. Nikki's indomitable spirit shone brightly on Season 8 of Ink Master, where she captivated audiences and competitors alike. Her success on the show catapulted her into co-hosting "Ink Master Angels," on Spike TV and Paramount Network for two thrilling seasons, followed by guest coaching appearances on Ink Master in later seasons.

Nikki has not only dominated television screens but also graced red carpets and the pages of leading tattoo magazines. Now,  moving beyond the spotlight of reality tv, she has realized her dream of establishing her own haven of creativity, EverBlack Tattoo Studio, where she tattoos full-time in her beloved Brooklyn, NYC.

Her distinctive style, romantic illustrative realism, is renowned for its soft, high-contrast black and grey pieces, as well as vibrant, saturated color work. Nikki’s portfolio is a mesmerizing gallery of woodland witches, fierce goddesses, perfectly petaled roses, and intricate ornamental accents. Each piece is a testament to her unparalleled skill and boundless imagination.
